The Master of Sport Administration (MSA) is not to be confused with the Bologna Masters. The RIOU MSA is a continuing education programme, similar to an MBA, which is typically taken in addition to a Bologna Masters degree. For this reason, the programme only admits students who have a Bachelor's or Masters degree.

About RIOU
RIOU is situated in the heart of the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games, which are being hosted in the city of Sochi.
More than 150 Olympic, World, and European champions graduated from the university, representing 77 countries around the world.
For the next 10 years, RIOU was awarded the status of a Regional Olympic Research Center by the International Olympic Committee.

The OVAL Interactive Education Center offers a unique experience for visitors. The archives of the Olympic Museum contain historically significant exhibits and sports simulators.

At the end of your studies, from May to June, students will prepare a draft of their final qualification project. In June, they will defend their projects and receive their diplomas.
No, to develop analytical, practical, and creative skills, lectures alone are not sufficient. We often employ different approaches and teaching methods. We study in small groups, prepare projects, and discuss them. We also conduct business games, arrange strategic sessions and, of course, one-on-one consultations with the experts.
The studying will take place on the campus in Sochi. There are modern classrooms and the largest conference hall in the southern region, as well as Wi-Fi coverage throughout the campus. We recommend the «MIRROR LIGHT» Hotel for accommodation, which is located just a 10-minute walk from the university. If you prefer something more affordable, we suggest renting an apartment for a longer period, which typically costs around 300-400$ per month.
